31 - Agriculture To Non-Agriculture Land

Posted by Admin on December, 21, 2023

If you are buying a residential property, ensure that the property is indeed in a residential zone and not in an agricultural zone. I have created a detailed video about the four land zones, and you can find the link to that video in the description.

To confirm a property's status in a residential zone, you should look for a Non-Agricultural (NA) document in all property documents. I have also created a detailed video about non-agricultural land, which you can check in my bio.

When it comes to purchasing a new home, one of the major considerations for many buyers is the type of land—specifically, the purpose for which the land is being used. Agricultural land is typically used for farming, livestock, or other agricultural activities. Non-agricultural land encompasses all other land uses, such as residential, commercial, or industrial.

Agricultural land is often less expensive to acquire but can be more challenging to develop. If you are unsure about the type of land your new home is on, be sure to ask your real estate agent.

Stay tuned with us for the understanding of the 20 checklist points ahead, and follow the guidelines of 11SquareFeet! If you find the video helpful, please do share it, and save it for future reference to avoid potential losses when buying property.
